Otokar follows the basic Human Resources policies adopted by Koç Group. The human resources processes operate as follows as of the date when an employee is employed:
Human Resources Department evaluates the databank in the computer system as well as the other databanks in order to meet the staff demands informed by the relevant departments and invites the candidates considered fit for interview. Personality inventory and tests for proficiency level in English language are applied for the candidates. After the results are assessed, the candidates are provided with an offer for remuneration as considered proper by the relevant department and the Human Resources Department and the process for staffing is initiated. The employee approved for the work will be paid remuneration as determined in parallel with the price policy of the company. Rise is applied for once in a year, in January. For rises, the inflation rate and the results of the performance evaluations are taken into consideration.
All the employees approved for work start their new duties after a comprehensive orientation program. All the employees from any level of the organization are provided with training schedules in or outside the company in parallel with the organizational needs, company goals, individual goals and the individual development needs of the employee.
